In 2020 the inaugural Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity Singapore and Top 10 Women in Security Malaysia Awards were held to recognise women in their respective fields. The awards ran with similar initiatives in Philippines, India, as well as Africa, Europe and Canada and form part of a global campaign by the Women in Security & Resilience Alliance (WISECRA).
